We've said it before but we don't mind repeating again that Cannondale builds great bikes. The C'dale F3 is an awesome hardtail mountain bike with an excellent mid-level Sram drivetrain, disc brakes, and Crank Brother's pedals, but what we love the most is the frame and fork. The very light and efficient Caffeine frame feels like it belongs on a bike that costs 3 times as much, and the HeadShok up front does such a great job of keeping the whole assembly laterally rigid. It also features an excellent suspension lock out, and with the very light weight of the HeadShok there's virtually no weight penalty if you ride rigid with the lock out engaged.
