Product Review: Jagwire Cables

Looking for a fun, relatively simple, inexpensive winter project that will improve your bike's performance and aesthetics? How about a new set of top end brake and/or shift cables?

Jagwire cables are arguably our favourite - most of us use them on our personal rides. They are buttery smooth, are available in many colours, and come with all of the necessary little extra do-dads, like 3 lined ferrules, 7 nosed ferrules, 6 cable donuts, 1 raincoat boot, 2 cable tips and 2100mm of sealing liner, 2 Tube Tops (for the derailleur kits).

Most important though is the lined cable housing and Teflon coated cables. They just work really well. And at just $36 a set they're a great value.
