Cayo 3.0

It's still maybe 6 months or so to the first sanctioned 'cross race of 2012 but we've decided to post about a new 'cross bike anyway. It's a good thing cx bikes can be used for virtually any type of riding in pretty much any condition, so there's never really a bad time to talk about 'cross bikes.

We just received shipment of a new Cayo 3.0, and it looks great. Shimano 105 has always worked well and has been a venerable favourite for many, many years, but in our estimation this is the best looking year for 105 yet, and it's the perfect compliment to the rest of the well put together bike.

The bike's geometry is pretty much what you'd expect for a racing 'cross bike and in all honesty we haven't had it out in the mud or snow yet, but we trust that it rides well.

It's so new to us that we don't have the official price it yet, but like most Focus models the price will be very reasonable.

We'll post the price soon but feel free to check this out in person even before we do.
