Many customers come into the shop to ask if we have something that will record their speed and/or distance travelled while on their bike. The short answer is "yes", we certainly do.
The slightly longer answer is that we have plenty of options available fro Cateye and Sigma, starting under $30. We have wired and wireless bike computers, we have once that monitor cadence, calorie consumption, pace, and more.
One of our most popular bike computers is the Cateye Velo 5 pictured here. It measures current speed, max speed, trip distance, total distance, and has a clock - just the basics, in a compact but easily visable unit that fits easily on any bike. You can check out this model, and many others, in the shop anytime.
They're super easy to install but if you don't have the inclination we're happy to do it for you. Building up the km's on the odometer is up to you.
