Let's say straight away that they're not cheap - $70 for the set to be exact. However, they're also indisputably beautiful, and the just feel great. Somehow Salsa got the shape and amount of leverage just right, and created a skewer that feels as good or better than anything else out there. Overall these skewers won't really affect the function or performance of your bike, but every time you change a tire or tube you'll do so with a smile on your face. Well, maybe not, but you get the idea.
These skewers come in a number of funky anodized colours, and we can order any of them for you. At the moment we have some silver ones in stock, so if you're not the flashy type these might be the ones for you. If you have a lot of extra cash burning a hole in your pocket we can also order Salsa titanium skewers for you, though we don't usually carry those ones in stock.
