Maybe we're just lazy after a long weekend but today's feature is the humble straddle cable carrier from Jagwire. Not much to review here, but still, it's worth pointing out that we have these in stock.We don't know why some cantilever brake systems have to come stock with ugly straddle cable carriers, but some do. If your 'cross bike, old school mountain bike, or custom build that requires canti's is the pride of your life but happens to have less than cool straddle cable carriers then consider upgrading to Jaguire's.
They're crazy cheap ($10 for the pair), they're lightweight, and the Teflon coated hose allows your straddle cable to float freely as you engage and disengage your brakes. Not much more needs to be said.
