Still hanging on to those wooden skis? Good for you, I guess. Whatever gets you outside is good. Except for a house fire. That would be bad.
Almost as bad is repairing your wooden skis. Prepping your wooden skis for pine taring is a time consuming and someone finicky process, and the tar itself is pretty messy stuff. Oh, and then there's the whole bit about taking a blow torch to the tar after it's applied to the skis. Yikes!
Why don't you just let us do it for you? The guys in the back of the shop are paid to get messy and point flames at your recreational equipment. While they're doing that you can go finish your Christmas shopping, or check the smoke detectors at home.
