With a 1060g carbon frame, Dura Ace components, Fulcrum Racing 5 wheels, and a really nice FSA BB30 SLK Light crankset this is a bike that lives up to its "pro" billingAs you're hopefully aware of by now we've recently started stocking Focus road and cyclocross bikes. We've brought a couple of the highest end Focus road bikes in for specific customers and initial feedback is extremely positive.
The Izalco Pro has a top end spec but saves a bit of money by using a frame built with uni-directional carbon instead of the high-modulus carbon on the team issue models. Strength and handling is pretty much the same, but there's a slight difference in weight. Still, a frame of barely more than 1000g is pretty darn light, and the price is kept under $5K ($4900 to be precise). No, that's not exactly cheap, but for a German made, Dura Ace equipped, carbon fibre racing bike it's a good deal.
